My Muses | Franklin TN Baby & Child Photographer

My girls are my muses and I just can’t say it enough. I am over the moon in love with them and to me they are the most beautiful beings inside and out. They have such distinct personalities – my yin and yang. I don’t get to photograph them enough but with my father’s recent cancer diagnosis I’ve vowed to carry my camera more often, make more time for personal sessions like these and truely live in the moment.

So about this session. I drive by this field in Franklin quite often. As the rain has blessed it lately, the clover and other weeds have blossomed. Amazing how weeds in the spring are so beautiful. So one evening after dinner in Cool Springs, it was perfect session weather. They sun set was going to be beautiful, about 60 degrees outside and I thought – field!! So I changed the girls quickly and dashed over to that field. Julia was in heaven with so much space to run free and that’s what I wanted her to do. She’s almost three and at that age where she knows what she wants and two of those things are: freedom & independence. Claire was just a dream with her cute faces in the middle of the field watching her sister run free. Thanks to my amazing husband for being my assistant for the evening. So here are my faves from the session. Enjoy!

Snapping away and smiling,

Amanda

Awww I just love these!!! Gorgeous field. I’m so jealous that your babies will hang out in a field. Lucas is terrified of weeds. Total bummer for me. 🙁

How funny he hates weeds. Claire tries to eat them and Julia thinks they are flowers. I’m sure the day will come. We need to get the kids together soon. Julia has recently gotten into bugs. That could be fun:-)
