THE SANTA EXPERIENCE SESSIONS

These sessions capture the magic of a child's time with Santa. From the moment you enter the fully decorated studio in historic downtown Columbia, you are transported to Santa's magical winter wonderland. The smell of evergreens invites you in to a treat of yummy hot cocoa or cider and Mrs. Claus' muffins before Santa tells the classic Christmas story, Twas the Night Before Christmas, to a group of 8-10 children - yours included. Afterwards each child will have 3 minutes to sit with Santa and share their magical wishes and dreams. Afterwards or while waiting, children are invited to decorate cookies with two of Santa's Elves. This is more than a quick visit but a moment in time your child (and you as a parent) will forever cherish.
How does Santa create magic & wonder?

A Postcard from the north pole
To build the excitement, a few weeks before your session your child will receive a hand written postcard from Santa's vacation home somewhere in the US...it's a surprise.

PERSONAL STORYTELLING
Santa will share with the children his version of Twas The Night Before Christmas...after all he was there.

A gift from santa
Each child will receive their own personal copy of Twas The Night Before Christmas signed by Santa himself.

COOKIE DECORATING WITH SANTA'S ELVES
After your child's time with Santa, Santa's elves have come all the way from the North Pole to help your child decorate a cookie to take for the road.
So What Make's This Different Than A Visit to the Mall?
First up no waiting or stress! Upon your arrival each child will find their way to a spot on the carpet. Santa will then read Twas The Night Before Christmas but while he's reading I will capture each child in their wonder of having Santa read to them! This is sometimes the most magical part. A bonus is often kids watching Santa for a few minutes helps them warm up instead of seeing him immediately and having hesitation to sit with him. Afterwards, each child can decorate a cookie or sit and watch the other kiddos tell Santa their wishes. This is helpful as well in kids feeling like it's okay to chat with jolly old Santa. This full experience lasts 30-45 minutes but it will be so magical time will fly just like Santa's reindeer.

I believe in not only having memories on your digital devices but also in your hands. You may use your product credit on albums, holiday cards, wall art and of course digitals.
What if my child isn't happy?
It happens and those are some of the best memories. If they are upset at any point the studio has a variety of locations you can take a moment and reset before seeing Santa. However I do love the kid crying images.
What should I wear?
You may choose whatever but my biggest suggestions are either Christmas PJ's or outfits in shades of red, green and white. Avoid patterns. The background will be all white with touches of red.
How many pictures will I receive?
Your gallery will be filled with candid images of Santa reading as well as your child's time on Santa's lap. The average gallery will have 10-15 images.
