Hi, I’m Amanda, your columbia photography studio owner
the why behind the studio
When life led me to move my studio from the original space, I knew it had to be similar but the same. The original space had created an opportunity for so many other photographers to grow their business. However, the next space always called to me. With it's two separate rooms, I saw I had an opportunity to create a studio more reflective of me - yin and yang. A work in progress at all times. Yin and yang. So take a moment and check her out and see what part of her calls to you.
The Two Spaces
Light Élevé
Light Élevé is soft, feminine, and luminous. Inspired by European interiors and natural daylight, this space is ideal if you’re drawn to:
- Light and airy imagery
- Romantic, timeless beauty
- Graceful femininity
- Soft editorial portraits
This space is often chosen for luxury boudoir, bridal boudoir, motherhood portraits, and warm, approachable headshots.
My favorite part: the floor-to-ceiling arched windows & variety of shadows that dance across the space throughout the day. Shadows not your thing - I have white velvet curtains to help you out.
Noir Élevé
Noir Élevé is moody, cinematic, and powerful. Designed with depth and contrast, this space is perfect if you’re drawn to:
- Shadow and drama
- Editorial, magazine-style imagery
- Confident, bold expression
- Emotionally rich portraits
This space is often chosen for luxury boudoir, personal branding, and high-end headshots with presence and edge.
Many clients choose to photograph in both spaces for a beautifully layered gallery.
My favorite part: The moody and cozy vibe it creates. From rich textures and warm soft light I feel so warm and relaxed. It's my fave place to hang when not finishing up the details.
