Hey YA'LL!
Let's be honest. You're here to figure out if you want to book muah for your session. You've gotten this far and wanna know a bit about me. So here goes.
Once upon a time I had this perfectly written ABOUT ME that well - wasn't really me. Here's me.
I am a lover of life but sometimes I am overwhelmed with it all. I juggle a million things but I believe we get one life - live it. My purpose in life is to use my creative eye to capture life and beauty and give it back into the world but also to remind young women and older women that we are reflections of each other and all have a story to tell. Be kind. Show compassion. Embrace imperfections. When I see the world I see the bigger whole but also find myself focusing in on tiny details that others never see. Maybe that's why I love photography. It captures things we miss in our everyday life but also things we will one day miss. It's also the creative outlet. I'm an Enneagram 4 so if I'm not creating I'm drowning you could say.
I have always felt different and am drawn to capturing people a bit differently. My style of photography ranges from traditional to edgy because I guess that's who I am. They say your photography should reflect you. I'm a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl but give me a pair of hot pink heels and sequins and I shall rock that too - so maybe that's why I give clients a little bit of everything in a session. I also know it can be hard to be a female at any age and I want my sessions to give clients the chance to be themselves and feel amazing about who they are. I want to take away all the stresses so my clients can just concentrate on themselves and their amazingness and let me capture it.
So the personal stuff. I am a life long learner with a background in elementary education, event planning and interior design. I taught myself photography and how to run a business. I'm a mom to two girls who are yin and yang. I'm a fan of all music especially Dave Matthews Band but otherwise classic rock. They fill my soul and that's what music is about. Yoga in the morning keeps me grounded and creating art, writing and gardening fills my soul. I thrive in the summer. I've been called a modern day hippy and my dream car is a CJ7 Jeep name DAZIMAE. I'm one of those weird people that likes to clean and organzine. On the side I am a licensed realtor and am the owner of Steel Magnolia Creative in Columbia, TN. My life motto is LIVE.LOVE.LAUGH.CREATE.
I've rambled - that's another thing - I ramble and talk a lot when I'm nervous - or don't talk at all. See rambling.
