Capturing A Milestone

There are a few big MILESTONES in a person's life. Turning double digits, graduating high school, graduating college, first REAL job, getting married, first child, turning 40....hold up did you see graduating high school! Yes. HUGE MILESTONE. Becoming a senior is a big deal ya know. 11 years of school, add in a few for preschool, completed. You've worked hard. You've sacrificed. You've survived middle school - yeah no one wants to remember those years. You've blossomed. Really you have. You've discovered many unique parts of you along the journey and with the unique you you're on the threshold of entering adulthood. So yeah this is a pretty big deal.
All About You
I think it is so that is why I want to give each senior a really unique session. A session that is all about them. So I'm going to date myself here. I remember Glamour Shots and if you have no idea what I'm talking about do a quick google search and be prepared to say "What the..". Yes seniors your mom most likely did these. Anyways, I remember how fun they were to do the whole hair and make up thing. Now that you've googled I WILL NOT make you look like that. I'm talking more about the experience of a session being all about me and only me. I chose the clothes and earrings....man I wish my mom could find mine somewhere. Oh to have had digital then. The point of my Glamour Shots comparison is I felt beautiful and confident and I want to do that for you. Plus it's a great time for mom and daughter to laugh and have fun together. I've yet to have a session where mom and daughter didn't share in some laughs and genuine fun.
You're Worth It
So 2-3 hours seems like a long time. For me though I want you to get your bang for your buck. The Senior Experience is an investment in this time in your life. This moment. This version of you. It shows every facet of you from your love for Saving Mama Earth to your favorite sport to your furry little friends to......what is it YOU ❤️? Between you completing a questionnaire and our in person or Zoom (thanks COVID) we will create a unique session. It's not rushed but easy flowing.
Unique Just Like You
If you know me or have seen any of my work you know I like to get creative while holding on to to a style where traditional meets photojournalistic. I am a creator. I get bored easily. I'm far from Type A as you can get. I like to mix things up. I'm not one who knows how to be contained in a tiny box. So with that said we will try new things and old to give your a gallery of images that you will be ready to post everywhere. I'm not your "look at me, tilt your chin" kind of photographer. Your gallery will be filled with candid and posed as well as traditional and over the top creative images.
I Will Hold Your Hand
From our first consultation to the moment your images are finally in your hands (or on your screen) I will hold you hand and mommas to make sure your experience is as easy and seamless. I remember my senior year. The beginning was insane. It wasn't and according to many of my seniors, until the end of my senior year after I had chosen my college did things calm down. It's insane really and you don't have time to remember everything so I will do that for you.
I am a photographer for many reasons but one is the power photography has in capturing time and this is a time to be captured. You're only a high school senior once!
